Which is simply a comment on how I’m feeling at the moment. I’ve been struck down with some dreadful lurgy – hacking cough, runny nose, sneezing, headache. Probably just a cold but almost certainly extreme enough to merit the label ‘man-flu’. Spent most of today in bed and some of it attempting to read an article on ‘New Criticism’. I’ve read the same bit over and over and I still don’t understand it. Shame that that was the lecture I skipped today. I’ll also be skipping my hospital placement this week. I don’t think I’d be made very welcome by the medical staff if I started coughing and sneezing all over their patients. Still, another day of rest and a good dose of lemsips should see me back on my feet in a day or so.

But, in the meantime – bleeeeehhhhhhhh!!!!
